Hotel/Camping La Zagara

Hello motorhome friends, a wonderful morning, even Mount Etna is making an appearance today. It's already hot, temperatures are rising to 30°C by noon. At 10:30 AM, we cycle to the next town, Melito di Porto Salvo. Along the beautiful promenade that winds by the sea, we enjoy the lovely landscape. We come across a church that is worth seeing, Parrocchia Maria SS Immacolata. With ceiling frescoes, beautiful floor tiles, great windows, and an altar with a blue dome reminiscent of the sky. The town is not far now, unbelievable what traffic there is, the bicycle is parked and we continue strolling on foot. After the ladies and one gentleman had enough of wandering, the cafés lured us with gelato, cappuccino, and more. Hmmm delicious, so many delicacies. Now it's gotten too warm for us and we long for a refreshment. Nothing like heading back and jumping into the sea. It’s wonderful, and still so warm, could Mount Etna be behind this? Two-thirds of the motorhome friends play boule, a little sport must be included. The briefing is a bit earlier today, pizza was on the agenda. The hotel and campsite owner made us this offer. We can't say no to that. The last rays of sunshine end a wonderful day of experiences.
