Halfway point, at the southernmost point of Calabria

After four days of stay, we are continuing our journey today. To the southernmost point of Calabria, at Hotel La Zagara in Melito di Porto Salvo, Reggio Calabria. The first group departs at 9:00 AM. We drive along the southern coastline on the SS18 and enjoy the beautiful views of the serpentine roads. Charming villages, hidden gems, miles-long beaches, and always the view of the sea. In Reggio C., we took a break and did some shopping. Now it's not far anymore, and an employee from the parking area shows us the way, right by the sea. A large area just for us where the host invites us for a welcome cocktail. A briefing done differently. Afterwards, we sit together for a bit longer.
