The 16th day

Today was a nostalgic day as our Finnish friends left and headed back home. The two of us started driving along the coast towards Vaasa.

Before that, we visited an island that is a UNESCO World Heritage site due to its biodiversity. We crossed an impressive bridge from the mainland to get there. We ended our visit at the Heritage Center with a coffee and something sweet.

Afterwards, we went straight to the city of Vaasa. It is a beautiful, modern, and young city located on a peninsula with lots of water. After a thorough tour, we relaxed in the sauna and pool at the hotel.
