Koh Rong Sanloem slows us down. But Feli wouldn't be Feli if she didn't find every little opportunity to do something :D

That's how it happened that I found myself on a quad bike on November 30th around 4 PM. We literally zoomed through the jungle to visit various viewpoints.

In the middle of the forest stand these beautiful stone paintings, without any indication of why
The view from up there was breathtaking

The day ended with a beautiful sunset.

Back at the hotel, we had dinner and since it stayed dry, there was also a fire show.

The next morning after breakfast, we decided to visit the nearby waterfall due to the rather cloudy weather. After a 20-minute beach walk and a $2 entrance fee, we reached it, cooled our feet for a moment, and started the way back.

Breakfast tastes good
A rather small waterfall but still somehow beautiful

We spent the rest of the day at the beach and pool, but we had to retreat under the sunshades several times due to multiple rain showers.

The next day (which was yesterday) was also quite rainy. At first, it wasn't too bothersome since you get wet in the pool anyway and our hotel has Happy Hour from 7 to 7, but we were a bit annoyed that the planned snorkeling tour - careful - was called off.

At least the evening was dry, allowing us to go on the boat trip in the dark. And it was a truly special experience. There is bioluminescent plankton in the water here. It starts to glow, only visible in absolute darkness, through kinetic energy. So we steered away from the beach, turned off all the lights - and yes, jumped into the dark water. Equipped with snorkeling goggles, we could follow our movements underwater, accompanied by little sparkling particles - the glowing plankton. Simply indescribably beautiful. It felt like swimming through a starry sky.

After that, we had dinner and another fire show.

The highlight of every fire show, finally captured in a picture

Today we are heading back to Phnom Penh, where we'll just stroll through the markets and enjoy the last rays of sunshine. Feli will spend the time until the ferry in her natural habitat: in the pool. And I'm sitting here, watching her and writing this article, well aware that it will be the last one. Probably for a longer time. Because soon, the real working life will begin for us, where such long joint travels to aid projects will become difficult. Studying was tough, but we'll miss all that free time. Thank you to everyone who has supported our travels and followed our entries here ❤️

Thank you, Feli, for letting me share and experience this time with you. And here's to the next 100 years, where I will properly annoy you. Promise.
