(03.06.) After an extensive walk and replenishing fresh water, we leave Stocka with our destination set for Sundsvall.
Sundsvall is the largest city in this area and is considered as a destination only because there is a large marine supplier there.
A few days ago, there was a tear in the genoa (the large front sail), which needs urgent repair. The simplest method is to use sail repair tape, which can only be found at the marine supplier.
Shortly after leaving the harbor, fog rolls in again and persists stubbornly until it finally dissipates about 4 hours later.
The wind is initially weak, forcing us to rely on the engine. Later, the wind picks up, and we sail along comfortably with following wind.
Upon arriving in Sundsvall, we try to dock at a marina close to the marine supplier.
Unfortunately, there are no guest spots available, and the docks are locked.
We then dock at the official guest harbor.
This is located about 3.5 km from the marine supplier.
