Dominican Republic

After 22 hours, we finally arrived at our first destination. At the Real Aeropuerto Hotel in Santo Domingo. Against all expectations, we quickly went through immigration in NYC and were at the gate half an hour before our flight to Santo Domingo. The flight took almost 4 hours. The immigration process in the Dominican Republic took longer. Of course, not all counters are open after midnight. We finally arrived at the hotel around 1:30 a.m. Today at 12 p.m., our taxi will come to take us to La Romana for Aida.
