Kangaroo Island

We had an incredible tour on Kangaroo Island and explored half of the island. I was so amazed that I fell asleep on the bus first.

The first stop was Seal Bay, where we saw sea lions in the wild. A boardwalk gets you very close to the beach, allowing you to observe these wonderful animals from a short distance.

Then we had a delicious snack in Vivonne Bay and continued to the Remarkable Rocks... they look so bizarre that we asked our guide Curley which artist exhibited them 🤭😅

The Admirals Arch was also stunning, and we spent a while just sitting on the bench, watching the sea, which had really enormous waves. Nearby, we saw more sea lions resting from their hunt. And surely also from the effort of getting back on land from the sea.

Until then, we hadn’t seen any kangaroos, and Curley kindly drove back with us towards Stokes Bay, where we could admire many 😁

At Stokes Bay on the beach, we were indeed alone for a minute at almost sunset...

We started at 9 AM and were home by 6 PM...

I don’t know how other people do it, but we were simply very happy, but also very tired after such an eventful day!

The last little creature is actually an echidna, which in English is a spiny anteater.
