Cryo-cold

It has snowed. And for the first time, it hurts again. My fingers, my left big toe. Every single leg muscle. The little cryos seem to be back, clogging up and scratching my blood vessel walls.

Just the day before yesterday, one of my favorite patients asked me how I was. "I haven't seen you for a long time and the others said you weren't feeling well, but I should ask you myself!" "Oh, actually I'm fine at the moment!" I answered my neighbor yesterday. When I picked up Jakob from the occupational therapy and went out into the cold, I thought about how long I've been feeling well. Nevertheless, the first thing I looked at outside was my hands. They look good. They feel good.

But not today. It has been almost two months since the plasmapheresis. So if I needed a plasmapheresis every two months, that would be OK, right? But then I would need a shunt, or at least a special port.

At the moment we are still waiting for the expert opinion from the MDK. I hope they reject it.

And on December 5th I'll get my next dose of Kiovig. Then it will be crucial whether my blood values have remained stable. I'll cry if they haven't.
