Another line? I had just tested negative for Jakob. My own was a little pink. Tests 2 and 3 were bright white again, even though I pushed the swab all the way into my nose. Not a good idea, because I've been getting a lot of nosebleeds lately, like everyone in my family. But you're still not sure, because I only tested because I had such strange headaches and earaches. On top of that, there was this feeling of cold inside, like when you have the flu. I had been so tired all day that I kept dozing off as soon as I sat down.
What now? We were actually invited to the neighbors' for coffee today, but I don't want to infect anyone and my head is so full that conversations are no fun. So I'm lying sick on the sofa.
Wait and see what happens. My immune system is still developing. It was clear that it would get me at some point. I am really careful, wear my FFP2 mask, and avoid a lot of things that people would like to do socially during the Christmas season. I also decided not to get the flu vaccination this year. On the one hand, the doctors recommended that I wait. On the other hand, I no longer trust this vaccination... But more on that elsewhere.
I don't know what the current status of my B cells is. But recently they were still at O. Not a single B cell responsible for the immune system. The rituximab was to blame, which wiped everything out. And no immunoglobulins that were flushed out of my body by the plasmapheresis. And in general, my illness makes me more susceptible to infections because my immune system is misdirected. That's why I've been taking antibiotics for 8 months now. Every two days, those big things that you can only swallow divided with jelly and that I like to avoid taking. But it's supposed to protect me from bacterial pneumonia, which is basically just waiting to attack me. But it's no use against viruses...
