Paellafest

Thursday, once again a beautiful sunrise... After the household chores like refilling water and so on... we head into the water, we can manage an hour straight... With group splashing, lots of laughter, and good entertainment, time flies quickly. The last week in La Banos has begun 🥲 we are celebrating the Paellafest. For not even 15.00 Euros, you can eat and drink as much as you want, accompanied by live music and Flamenco dancers in traditional attire. Our hostess is already ready and going through the reservations. It starts at 11:30 AM... we dress up, and suddenly we are right in the action. Draft beer, sangria to mix yourself, water and Fanta, red, white, and rosé wine. A blue wristband adorns our arm, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Now things are moving quickly. Sweet and sour dishes are served, followed by a pastry filled with, I don't know, mashed potatoes and vegetables. This is followed by a bratwurst with potatoes and mayo, accompanied by a salt stick. We are not given a break... next comes the paella with chicken. We are stuffed to the brim... The Flamenco dancers fire up the crowd and invite everyone to join in... The mood is rising. The dessert awaits... Ice cream with whisky, poured by Isabel herself. Hmmmm, now let's dance... to burn off the calories.
