On the way to the mill... in the morning it honks and rings... the baker is here... and the orange grower... on the way to the thermal baths we see Ernst, he has a problem... The guiding line of his fly screen door has snapped. Whoops, one shouldn't play with gas... Hans and Micha are refilling the gas bottles. And there's laundry to be done at Marianne and Irmi's. Ute and Gerd are enjoying the water, Uschi is cooking something, and Heinz and Heidi are also staying home. The rest are coming to the mill. The hungry ones march up the hill on foot; it's hot and we are hungry. The mill turns out to be a delicious restaurant where one can enjoy fantastic meals. 14 people have signed up. A beautifully set table awaits us. Once everyone has taken their seats, the waiter brings bianco wine and water to the table, and if anyone wants something else, they can have it. We start with an aioli cream with bread, followed by a kind of pancake filled with cream cheese, fried and soaked in honey. Already the service staff arrives, and we order the starters. Salad plates shorten the waiting time. There is noodle soup or beans or vegetable stew with chicken. We choose the main course: chicken breast or sea bass or pork cheeks with fries. Actually, we are full but the dessert looks so tempting... We can choose between pudding, chocolate cake, and cheesecake, served with espresso or cappuccino. The whole thing costs only 18.00 euros. Satisfied, we make our way back down the valley. The irrigation is running, and new flowers are blooming again. Tonight there is bingo... great. Visitors have also arrived... Icke and Willi from Berlin, old friends who are always welcome. Also new guests, Susanne and Doris are with us today, all from the mountain 😘. Bingo night, the bingo tickets are being sold... The tension rises... it begins... The king 👑 of the mountain wins the first round. Followed by Wilhelm and Gerd. The first round is over. You can hardly believe it, such a lucky guy, our Matze takes first place again in the second round. Followed by Gerd and Didi. The third round is women's power, with Elke taking first place, Ute in second, and Moni in third. Today consolation prizes are being given out... all those who have never won at bingo will receive a free ticket... it takes a while... finally... the first consolation prize is won by Susanne, a guest of the RMF, she is happy to receive a can of Nivea cream and a thermos. Ernst was also happy with the second place, he won a can of good, organic olive oil. The third place goes to Micha, the joy is huge, a bottle of white wine with cheese snacks. Lastly, the fourth prize went to our guest Birgit, who is delighted with a fly swatter, a piccolo of white wine, and a small Prosecco. Congratulations to all the winners.
