A beautiful good morning, no rain and mild 3 °
Yesterday, dear friends Elke and Dieter joined us; they completed a marathon. Now we are already five motorhomes on the way to Fortuna, with three cars already in Spain at the site. So far, everything has gone perfectly. Today, we face approximately 580 km to La Jonquero/E to the Spanish border. Beginning of the third leg...9:00 am start...With radiant sunshine, making the 'route' is real fun🤗. From Vichy, via Clermont-Ferrand to St. Germain, then through Aubrac, we continue on the E11 through and across the Cevennes. Oops, snow 🤔the snow line here is at 1140m. On dry roads, it's up and down. Now we will take a lunch break for about 30 minutes. Refreshed, we set off again. Just before Millau, we leave the highway to see the largest and longest cable-stayed bridge in the world. It can be seen from the center of Millau. Continuing on the E11 to Gignac. Here we encounter the first vineyards and olive groves at 14° Celsius, it's simply beautiful. Continuing on the D64 in the direction of Beziers. Break, stretch the legs a bit. We follow Route Nationale D 6009 until Narbonne. Shortly thereafter...the first glimpse of the Mediterranean and the salt flats. Just to overcome the Pyrenees, and then we are almost there. La Jonquero....
