2025 - August - Frankfurt - Robbie Williams Concert

August 10, 2025, Frankfurt, Deutsche Bank Park Stadium, a pleasant 28 degrees Celsius.

It was Robbie Williams' farewell to Germany on his big tour, and somehow I even got the impression that saying goodbye was truly difficult for him.

Wrapped in a German flag and with kind words for his German fans, he became very sentimental. I’m not sure if it was just flattery for us, but he mentioned that his German fans had often supported him more than his fellow countrymen.

What is no secret: There has always been a rivalry between him and Gary Barlow in Take That. And of course, many of Robbie Williams' escapades have been played out in the English gossip press, which is known for its ruthlessness. Additionally, Robbie Williams suffers from ADHD and is brutally honest with himself regarding his drug career.

All of this can also be well understood in the new film (Better Man - The Robbie Williams Story) about him. He plays himself in it, but his face is replaced by the head of a monkey. However, the body language, facial expressions, etc., are still easily recognizable. I thought the film was great! And although I really wouldn't consider myself a fan and hadn't listened to many of his songs in a long time, I surprisingly found myself singing along a lot in the cinema. Don't worry, it's not a musical, but it is certainly about music.

Of course, I also wanted to attend one of his concerts. We were lucky enough to experience him at the launching of the Mein Schiff Relax in April 2025. Back then, it was on a smaller stage with a trimmed-down program, but he still delivered.

And he can definitely deliver. He calls himself the King of Entertainment. And the stage is indeed made for him. That’s why I’m extremely glad that we could still go to Frankfurt after our canceled concert in Berlin due to bad weather.

And of course, once again, the women of my age group were particularly enamored with him. And he knows how to delight his fans. From the first minute, everyone in the stands was on their feet, all the way to the last song after over two hours.

So, I will definitely be there for the next tour!
