The first stage! Not quite solo yet, as Greta is still accompanying me today and tomorrow.
Somehow we must have miscalculated the distances because in the end we had 107 km on the odometer (much more than Google Maps predicted) and almost no battery left. And in Höxter there is another steep climb to the Weserbergland Clinic, where we will spend the night in the guest house. However, the view is very beautiful.
Maybe it was also because we got lost a few times, especially in Horn, where the crossing of B1 was definitely signposted incorrectly! A tip from the insider: Getting lost works particularly well when you already know that the battery might run out AND you have a strict check-in deadline. Better not repeat that...
But once you've made it, everything is fine again.
And the highlights: The route on the R1 from Leopoldstal to Bredenborn and the descent from Marienmünster down to the Weser Valley.

Hallo Eberhard, schön, dass du uns teilhaben lässt! Das Problem der mutierten Kilometer hat uns an der Elbe auch begleitet, wir hatten schon den Verdacht, die E Bikes sind falsch eingestellt, damit wir stolz von langen Touren und Akku- Reichweiten erzählen können!
