Day 15: Port Angeles

Today is the day: we are going to fulfill my big dream of seeing Orcas. We first see seals and a lot of smoke. Shortly before the Canadian coast, we spot a whole family of transient orcas. Such fascinating animals!

After the 5-hour trip, we use the rest of the day to explore the nearby part of Olympic National Park and hike along the Hurricane Trail.

The ultimate high 🙋

In one day, we have seen more animals in their natural habitat than in our time in Canada. Seeing orcas for real has exceeded my expectations.
