From Melsungen to Schenklengsfeld

The weather was not an issue today. At least not for us. But we have heard of the terrible storms in the west. Today, we drove along the Fulda River for a major part of the way. A river like this always has the advantage of keeping the slopes in check. So we drove very comfortably today, took an ice cream break in Rotenburg an der Fulda, and later treated ourselves to a long lunch break. Just before Bad Hersfeld, we said goodbye to the Fulda and drove to Schenklengsfeld, where we will be staying at Gasthof zur Linde for the fourth time in total, after 2017, 2018, and 2020. Traditions have their charm.
