Prolog

We're setting off again. Our second tour under corona conditions. This time we want to cross Germany from northwest to southeast. The green route. We will start in Norddeich Mole tomorrow, hopefully with good weather (at least that's what the weather forecast promises), and we will drive to Berchtesgaden in a little over 2 weeks (green route in the picture above). What's special for me this time is that the route leads through both my place of birth (Haselünne) and the place where I grew up and went to school (Osnabrück or Wallenhorst). Since we were late with the train booking this time, unfortunately we have to take the regional express tomorrow (change trains twice). The bicycle spaces in the intercity were fully booked.
