June 29 - Cycling tour to the Gumpen of Fagirelli

Last day in Calvi. The temperature has risen to two thousand degrees. Way too hot for the beach. So we ride our bikes south into the mountains.

There’s a restaurant with a shady terrace and nearby there are pools of the Figarella River for swimming.

We eat, swim, and cycle back to the campsite through the afternoon heat.

In the evening, one last time at the beach. Shower, dinner, sleep; goodbye Calvi, it was nice.
