July 10 - Last Day, Return Trip, Conclusion

Everything comes to an end, including this vacation. However, we are so well-rested that we almost look forward to going back to work.

One last time, we eat at the beach, enjoy the sea, and calmly pack our things. Since we'll be playing in a recreational volleyball tournament in Winterbach, Swabia this weekend, we will cross overnight by ferry from Bastia to Savona. I can really recommend this. It's just a little creepy to be woken up by the captain over the loudspeaker in the cabin at 5:40.

So, how did we like Corsica? In one word: excellent!

The food is very good, the nature is beautiful, the wine is fantastic and affordable (even in the restaurant), and the Corsicans are nice, attentive, and happy when you try to speak French. The combination of VW bus and e-bike works excellently in Corsica, as long as you avoid the main roads where possible.

We will definitely come back at some point.
