June 23 - Sixty!
Through the Agriates Desert, Dining at La Gaffe

Initially, I wanted to go on a cycling tour in the north of Cap Corse; 40 kilometers, 1000 meters of elevation, easy. But after Google Maps revealed that it would take an hour and a half to cover the 60 km drive, we decided to switch to hiking in the vineyards. For that, I need new trekking shoes. So off to Saint-Florent on the bike to the local sports boutique to buy trekking shoes, new shorts, and a new cap for Katja and me. Consumption!
Finally in the car, we head towards Patrimonio to the Domaine Montemagni. It's lunchtime and we are also hungry, and the Domaine is being swarmed by a tour bus. So we head to the nearest restaurant. On the way, Katja says she doesn't even know if she wants to hike anymore. We don’t have to, I reply gratefully.
After the delicious meal, we stock up on rosé, a pétillant made from yellow muscat, and two bottles of red wine. A bottle of better rosé comes for free from the charming salesperson.
Back at the campsite, we chill extensively and play a bit of sports on the beach in the evening.
In conclusion, we have a light salad Fantasia (green salad, tomatoes, canned tuna) with baguette, followed by a game of 'Turn und Taxis' (Katja won). Good night!
