Cycling Trip at Cap Corse

We set off at 7:45. 2 hours later than I would have liked. But Katja needs her sleep.
The A8 towards Salzburg is terribly clear - until the Inn Valley Highway. That's where we encounter the first truck traffic jam. You crawl at 80 km/h past trucks until the border. The next instance is going up the Brenner and then to Bolzano.
Katja and I clearly lose as the German delegation in the Italian road driving triathlon against Italy. This involves almost the following disciplines:
- Driving dangerously close
- Overtaking on the right
- Cutting others during lane changes (often following an overtaking on the right)
It’s 150 - 1; once Katja didn't brake after being cut off.
But we persevere. Over the Brenner, through the Po Valley, over the Apennines. Again and again traffic jams, but we finally arrive in Livorno at 17:00.

I search for a parking spot and find one in the parking garage while Katja relaxes at the hotel. Price 25 euros until the next morning, what a bargain!
