Forest, just forest

From Karasjok, it's only a few kilometers to the Finnish border. I'm curious if I can even drive a hundred anymore, the Finns allow ten km/h more on their roads than the Norwegians. That would make it the second Scandinavian country reached and I say ' Ha det bra, Norway, vi sees!'

My plan takes me through the Finnish part of Lapland. The monotony of the landscape becomes agonizing at some point. In principle, I like forests, but here, as mentioned before, there is an area slightly larger than Germany. When the Torne älv finally appears after 400 kilometers, the border river between Sweden and Finland, the area becomes a bit lighter.

There's not much to see in general, except that you would beat everyone in Scrabble with Finnish place names.
