Tamarind

So, as announced, I'm at the beach. Actually, it's getting up, eating, beach, eating, beach, eating, snacking. :D and it's so much fun.

Of course, it's pretty touristy and there are a lot of Americans around, but I still like it. Lots of nice little restaurants, lots of little shops that have a lot of glitter stuff and fancy t-shirts and demand all my self-control. And the food is so good! Finally, stuffing my belly properly.

At the two outer ends of the beach, people are surfing all day, in the middle there is a reef that becomes clearly visible in the afternoon at low tide. The sun sets quite spectacularly over the sea every evening. It's definitely worth staying here for a few days - or as one of the greatest poets of modern times put it, we found wonderland, you and I got lost in it 🌊
