17_WELLINGTON AND LEVIN

Beautiful 3-hour ferry ride from Picton to Wellington in perfect weather - North Island, here we come!

We spend 2 hours in Wellington, not much, but we still get a good impression of the city. Afterwards, we drive to Levin to meet Mohi and his children Terina (12), Rosalie (10), and Roman (6). The kids are super excited and can't wait to go swimming with us at the river (Ōhau river), which we do… The river has yellow clay cliffs, and from there they jump into the water. The current is strong in some spots, it's unbelievably refreshing!

At the end of the evening, we start the 1000 Piece Puzzle that we brought, which is really nice.
