Blue Mountains & Bondi Beach

I had to get up early, 5:30 a.m., to get ready, pack my remaining things so I don't forget anything at William's, as I won't see him again for a while. I took the bus to Felina and Manuel's hostel. I gave my heavy backpack to Manuel to store in his room. Shortly after 7, we set off for the metro and my first trip began. After 3 hours, we arrived at the hostel for the night. This was my first time staying in a hostel. It was large and very beautiful. The people there were all tourists, many families, and nature lovers who wanted to hike in the nearby Blue Mountains. That was our plan too. After Felina made a plan, we set off. I quickly realized that my Reebook Classics were the wrong shoes for such a hike because after the first 100 very muddy meters, they were dirty and wet. We hiked to the 'Three Sisters,' passing by beautiful spots in the middle of the rainforest. The views were breathtaking.
After 18km of pure ups and downs, we finally arrived and the view was truly dreamy. We continued to a waterfall, which was also dreamy. In the evening at the hostel, we planned when we would leave the next day to see the Great Canyon and visit the Katoomba Waterfall.

This place at the waterfall was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.
Where the water splashed on the water, we could swim and all three of us went completely into the water, even though it was ice cold. It was worth it, and afterwards we were wide awake. After waiting an hour for the bus to take us back to Katoomba, we briefly went into Coles (supermarket) and then continued to the start of the Great Canyon hiking trail, which took about 4 hours. This trail was also incredibly beautiful, but very tiring. In the evening, we drove back to Sydney and then I checked into my hostel for the next 10 days. I live here in a 10 m² room with a couple. One bed is still free, so someone could join at any time.

12.07.2024:

The first night was not particularly good, it was very noisy, my bed squeaks with every movement, and my mattress is rock hard. But I'll surely get used to it somehow. Around noon, Manuel and I met up and drove to the famous Bondi Beach. Yes, it's a beautiful beach, but I imagined it to be much nicer. After visiting Bondi Beach, we took a walk and then drove back home because it was getting too cold.
