A perfect day

After a joint breakfast this morning, we went with Magnus to his young horses. It is unimaginable in Germany how much land is available for horses here. Personally, I have to keep realizing that bringing a horse to Germany is really not the right thing to do. I just have to leave my horses here. I can always visit them. Maybe 5 to 10 times a year. Or maybe even live here.... After that, we went with Magnus and the mares to the small waterfall. Squeezed into his car - among the obligatory chocolate bars, children's toys, tools, and other undefinable things - it was quite fun to drive from pothole to pothole. After a quick lunch, we all went riding together. Typical Icelandic ride.. 100 meters walk and then everything else is tölt - about 5 kilometers with very short breaks - then visited the farm where this absolutely crazy stallion stands - spent half an hour there and then returned home at the same pace - simply crazy. The farm itself is known here as the black farm and belongs to one of the most famous Icelandic trainers. It has a stable with boxes for 64 horses, a 60-meter indoor arena, and everything you could wish for. Back at home, we trained a few horses in the arena and now let's see what the evening brings. Probably going to the hot pot to relax the muscles.
