Sully-sur-Loire

If you find yourself in the area – specifically along the course of the Loire River – a castle visit is a must. However, choosing one among the multitude of Loire castles is quite a challenge. We opted for the castle in Sully-sur-Loire because it is listed as one of the must-see Loire castles and because it is not excessively far from Jargeau. Other castles would have required a drive of one and a half to two hours, which we wanted to avoid, especially due to the summer heat.
