Bye, bye – and see you soon!

After five and a half weeks, our autumn trip is coming to its inevitable end. Today, we traveled leisurely from Mainz to Ribeauvillé, back to Alsace, where our journey began in early September. We have learned a lot of new things on our trip, and once again, our horizons have expanded quite a bit...

Tomorrow we are definitely going home. But first, we will stock up on French delicacies (cheese, wine, biscuits, and a few other things) at the nearby Leclerc, which are not available in Switzerland. And we will also fill up the tank; although fuel prices are high here as well, they are not quite as exorbitant as in Germany and the Netherlands.
