Arrive in Burgundy

After a heavy thunderstorm on the way from Besançon to our next stop, the campsite in Santenay, we settled in again. As it quickly turns out, we (after some deliberation and walking around) landed on what is probably the most beautiful spot on the campsite. With a direct view of the surrounding vineyards.

The campsite here is “typically French”: the location is fantastic, many of the beautiful pitches have no electricity and the sanitary facilities are not exactly “comme il faut”. At least we clean more or less regularly... Be that as it may: We enjoy our cozy place. And we have now really arrived in the heart of Burgundy.
