First week in Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh

The first city we arrived in, in Vietnam was Ho Chi Minh City, which is also the capital. Here, we learned about Vietnam's history. We visited an outdoor war museum. On the way there, we met people who are still affected by the war. During the war, chemicals were sprayed to destroy crops and remove the jungle cover, which has resulted in the population still being affected by pollution to this day. People who have lived in this area bear children with deformities and have a higher chance of cancer. They have created a workspace for those affected, where they can be creative and sell their paintings to survive.

After that, we saw the many different traps and how they used the forest terrain to defend themselves against the Americans. Then Bastian shot an AK47 🔫, which was a great experience for him.

We also learned that Vietnamese food is the best food, and that Bun Cha is the world's best dish. Bahn Mi is also really delicious. We even saw a rat that probably could eat a dog if it wanted to.
