Connection stage towards Milford Sound

A quick breakfast, coffee for the drive, and off we go ... today I'm continuing on a wide loop towards the east and then south. Along Lake Wanaka and Lake Hawea to Wanaka itself, a short stop for shopping, on the terrace I use the secure WiFi to write my blog, then on to Cromwell (delicious cherries for $10) and Queenstown to Mossburn. The clean site is run by a friendly couple, it's nice and at $25, quite affordable. In comparison, at DOC sites, I pay $15 just for a spot and toilet. Here there are warm showers, ample cooking facilities and a toaster, plus a hot water boiler for coffee and a fridge for butter and beer (just don't forget it in the morning).
