The next morning, we first visit the landmark of Los Angeles, the Hollywood sign. We take a narrow road through a residential area (nice houses) to the Hollywood Reservoir, from its dam one has a beautiful, unobstructed view of the sign and the city itself. At the Farmers Market, we enjoy a light snack; in the deli, there are not only 30 different types of honey and olives, but also high-quality cold drinks from Germany. Food stalls alternate with boutique shops, creating a very colorful scene. Later, we continue to the Getty Museum. The parking fee is $15, but the entrance is free. A funicular takes you up to a small hill in 5 minutes. Fantastic architecture, prominently located on the hill. Back at our accommodation, we stroll for another 20 minutes along Broadway Boulevard, taking in the bustling activity. Street vendors, souvenir shops, and various artists enrich the scene, and we constantly find ourselves looking down for the next famous star on the sidewalk.
