Tag. We aimed to start promptly at 8:00 AM. I got up at 4:00, packed the remaining items, and had breakfast. I wanted to stop by the office once more to pick up the translator. Said and done, I parked, went into the office, picked up the translators, and started the RV. I couldn't believe my eyes, the engine warning light wouldn't turn off. It was the same disaster when we were headed to the tournament in Horka. I was out with the RV at least once a day, but today, as we were about to leave, it wouldn't turn off. I noticed that the engine was running at high idle. At first, I thought nothing of it, since the engine was cold. With quick, angry steps, I went back to the office and fetched the large folder with the translated manual. Chapter 4, Pages 21-22, Engine Malfunction. Please visit a workshop. Saturday morning. At 8:00 AM and without an appointment, no chance!! Giving up wasn't an option, I wanted to go. We drove to Dinkelsbühl to the Mercedes workshop, but it was still closed. I turned off the engine and lowered the RPM. I restarted, and the warning light stayed off. The day before, my cleaning ladies had cleaned the RV and probably adjusted the tachometer's button. A deep breath, and from Dinkelsbühl, we hit the highway. It was lightly raining, and we drove at 90 km toward Neuenburg am Rhein in the Market Gräflerland. There was quite a bit happening on the highway. Suddenly, the police overtook me and signaled for me to pull over to the shoulder. However, there was no further request. So I just continued driving. Then they drove alongside, rolled down the windows, and reminded me to fasten my seatbelt properly. Of course, I did it immediately; the policewoman laughed, and they drove off. Then there was a small reprimand from Lothar, and we continued smiling. The rain intensified, and hail began to fall from the sky, along with a strong storm. We were relieved when we arrived in the Market Gräflerland; the weather was still quite good. But now it was clouding over, and rain and storm were forecasted for tonight.
