Today we started our tour in Tscherms, right from the Mondi Hotel. The sun was serious right from the start – with over 31 °C, it was truly a hot tour today.

Right after the start, we went through endless apple orchards. The well-developed bike path led us through Meran and the beautiful surroundings of South Tyrol. The route was varied – from quiet farm roads to gentle inclines.

In Saltaus at the campsite + cyclist stop, we took a short break to drink some mineral water and catch our breath. After that, we entered the Passeiertal, which impresses with its mountain backdrop and small villages like Riffian, Kuens, and St. Martin in Passeier. The landscape became more alpine, the inclines more pronounced – but the views made up for everything.
