On Sunday morning I took the train to Helsinki. At the airport, I met up with Stefano and his friend as they were waiting for their flight and I was waiting for Oscar. When Oscar arrived, I talked with Stefano for a bit and then said a final goodbye to him. Oscar and I then continued on to the hostel where we dropped off our luggage and explored the city a little. Since it was still bright and sunny, even at 10 o'clock, we got to see a lot during those few remaining hours. We started at Cafe Regatta, a place I've always wanted to visit. After some sightseeing (which took about an hour in Helsinki), we had a nice dinner and then went to Suomenlinna to watch the sunset - where we were attacked by seagulls and warned by a staff member that there was a major risk of falling due to where we were sitting. The next day, we had breakfast at the Market Hall (Finnish pastries and salmon soup), did some more exploring, had lunch at UniCafé, and then went to Lammassaari. To end the trip, I visited the Oodi Library and then took the train to Jyväskylä.
