A Day in Troyes

We sleep in and then stroll into the old town. There’s quite a manageable number of people out and about.

All the street barriers that were set up for the celebration the night before have already been cleared away, everything is totally clean. Unfortunately, cars are back driving through the old town, which detracts from the quality of stay.

The pictures from the visit to the cathedral and the Cité de Vitrail will be available soon in separate posts. These places are worth a visit.

In the evening, there was also the semi-final match of the World Cup, Spain - France, which despite our enthusiastic cheering did not lead to a victory for the French. There was again a great atmosphere in the city, as many establishments showed the game and had set up accordingly.
