The first full day of vacation and we enjoy the peace, I am happy about the morning plunge without any other guests on the beach. Wonderful, after breakfast on the balcony we start the day calmly. We have decided not to drive over hill and dale today and do something.

Instead, we chill - as they say in Neudeutsch. But: the weather is unbearably hot, I find it difficult to relax and quickly develop headaches that come and go.

I doubt that we can really go out and do something the following day.

Thanks to a tablet, it gets better at night and we leave at 7.30 a.m. towards the car... which we can't find. I'm already so warm and this damn parking lot (can you call it that?) is just not to be found.

After ages we find our means of transport and decide to undress our finery and drive off only slightly dressed. After all, we don't want to show up at Empress Sissy with sweat stains and soaked through. Sitting in the car, Petra realizes, "Now I understand why everyone always walks around naked when it's so hot."

The drive is pleasant and Petra speaks my mind when she realizes that you remind her a lot of Malaysia here. "Oh my God, I thought that immediately last year," I note.

The underbrush on the right and left, the type of power cables, the construction of the houses - somehow Malaysian.

Our first stop takes us to Achilleon to Empress Sissy, the outdoor area is amazing. Little visited when we arrive, more so when we leave.

We see little of Sissy, but well... considering who had access to this palace after her death. It's just fun to wander around the estate.

I suggest that if we are already here, we should drive to Vlanera Monastery today and of course to Mouse Island, after all, it's beautiful there and Heuschneiderin also wishes for such a beautiful bowl as I brought with me last year.

I love this place, everything is so small and cozy, there are few people around. Oh yes... and watching the incoming planes is really nice. My camera is also with me, it shoots like crazy.

On Mouse Island, the seller of the bowl recognizes me and reports that currently no boats are going to the island after 3 p.m. due to the risk of forest fires. Oh dear!

Back on the mainland, the plane spotting hardly ends, we go to Café Kanoni (https://cafekanoni.com/) and have the perfect view. All the other customers are also happy, but I especially enjoy two really old women who have discovered posing and taking pictures for themselves on Instagram-like. I have fun with the two😁.

A delicious Greek salad fills the stomach (no beer for Petra today), we change in the toilet and jump into the lukewarm water right next to the monastery. Wonderful 🎉

This is how the day can come to an end in a relaxed way.
