Yesterday was a great day! After our busy schedule on Friday, we just fell into bed in the evening and slept in late. Then we had a leisurely breakfast and chatted on the balcony. Steffi decided to spend a few beautiful hours at the beach, while we preferred the pool.
At 1pm, we met back in our apartment to get ready for the next activity. Today, we were going to go zip-lining up north. I think zip-lining has become a trendy activity on vacations in recent years, but none of us had done it before, so we wanted to give it a try.
We chose the Northshore Zipline because the crew had received great reviews everywhere regarding safety and entertainment. And let me tell you, we were not disappointed 😂 the three guys who accompanied us always secured us perfectly, so we didn't have any fear, neither on the high ropes nor on the very shaky rope ladders we had to climb up. And in return, their casual, crazy, and sometimes macabre style kept us entertained so well that we just had to laugh and relax. We were a group of 13 people and had to conquer seven ropes, the highest of which was 20m and the longest was 270m. 🌳🌳 At times, we reached speeds of up to 55-60 km/h. 🏎💨 It was amazing! ❤️ I was a bit sad after we finished the last one and the two hours were already over. For professionals, the facility would have been boring, but for beginners or even scaredy-cats, it was perfect 👌🏼 and, as I said, the team made this activity a special experience. 🤪
Afterwards, we went out to eat and do some shopping, because tonight we're going to have another barbecue. 🔪🥩🌽
This morning, Steffi went on a snorkeling tour, while Patrick and I will be enjoying the pool for a few hours. 😎☀️
