On our last day in Singapore, we intended to see even more of the flowers and plants and finally visit the Flower Dome. But first, of course, it was pool time again.

A few days ago, it was Chinese New Year, and you could still feel it throughout the city. Everywhere, there were horse sculptures and colorful decorations, along with even more flowers than usual all over Singapore. In the Flower Dome itself, we were completely in plant mode. Flowers, cacti, huge trees, and perfectly staged landscapes. Everything was somehow exaggeratedly beautiful and at the same time totally relaxing.

After that, we headed back towards Marina Bay. Our goal was clear. A Kyoto latte at % Arabica and then just sit in front of the skyline. That's exactly what we did. Coffee in hand, looking at the skyscrapers, and just doing nothing for a while.

In the evening, we were really hungry and went to Lau Pa Sat. There, there is a simple rule. Look for the stall with the longest line. That's where you must eat. So we lined up and ended up at a stall that sold Carrot Cake. What we got, however, was... not what we expected. No cake. No frosting. No dessert. Instead, it was a savory dish made of steamed rice flour cubes that are pan-fried. It comes with egg, pickled radish, and soy sauce.
