Take 4 Skagen

Fux was up early and was able to watch the arrival. We are again on the port side and can see the sea side from our cabins, where a few ships are milling around and anchored. The sun greeted us in Skagen, but it is not going to stay that way.

After a hearty breakfast in the marina on deck 7, we got off the ship and headed towards Greven where the Baltic and North Seas meet.

I admit that I wasn't in the mood for a 13-kilometer hike and my fellow travelers had to put up with that a few times. Because today will be another day with a huge number of steps.

But in the end, everyone did it and saw a beautiful landscape. When we arrived at the junction of the two seas, there were two seals lying around and they were not bothered by the many people. In the North Sea, a slightly larger specimen was occasionally spotted, but it kept a more than reasonable distance from the crazy people.

At 2 p.m. it got rainy and a bit windy, but we were almost back on the ship. After a little refreshment the kids went to their beloved pool and we went for a nice coffee. There was a family rally on the ship in the kids club today, Katrin and Nadine didn't miss it and brought them along for the children, unfortunately without a prize. The girls would have loved a clubbie, because I've slowly infected the new cruisers with the Aida craze. In the evening we went to the East Restaurant to enjoy delicious Chinese cuisine. At 9 p.m. it was time to sail away, which was finally my special moment to leave the ship at this time of day on this huge ship. Fux is happy that there are finally waves, but you hardly notice them on the big ship.
