Day 3 Copenhagen

Published: 10.10.2023

From our berth to the Little Mermaid it was about 5km due to a huge construction site around the Oceankai, which we of course walked.

Passing the Mermaid, we headed towards Amalienbourg, where we watched the spectacle of the changing of the guard at 12 o'clock. The guards arrived by bus.

Nynhavn, the trendy district, is just a few meters away. There is one restaurant after the other. You can easily pay €7 for an ice cream. I quickly grabbed a postcard and headed towards the subway station. Andi was in his element and was able to buy the tickets online after reading up on Copenhagen's public transport network. We took the subway and then the bus back to Aida, where we enjoyed a cocktail after a delicious lunch. The women and kids then went for coffee and clubbie bingo (we women were more excited about it than the kids), and the men had to go jogging in Copenhagen. Otherwise you can get really stressed out on the ship.

The Aida is long and wide, and it really takes time to find your way around. Yesterday we were at the front of the pool deck when we set sail at 6 p.m. and were able to enjoy the sailing. We would like to take the "horn" with us and install it in one of our cars to see if anyone notices it.

Yesterday we had dinner in the brewery, which is something that many Bavarians could learn from. The shows in the Theatrium are also more than worth seeing, the kids love it. And so another day passes with lots of impressions and experiences and the odd laugh.
