Journey home different than desired

It's time to say goodbye. The suitcases were picked up during the night and we were able to pick them up in the arrivals hall. So everything was very relaxed. After breakfast we had to leave the ship at half past seven and then the first traffic jam appeared, at the buses to the cars. We didn't know then that we would still be spending some time in Kiel. After waiting half an hour we were finally able to drive to our cars and quickly home. Yes, unfortunately this time without our car. Our Focus had broken down and wouldn't work anymore. After we were towed by the ADAC and received a rental car, we were finally able to drive home shortly before 12 o'clock. Andi and I will probably see Kiel again sometime in the next two weeks and hopefully be able to pick up our car again. There are hardly any garages in Kiel that could help you on Saturdays and certainly not at lunchtime. We were home at eight and immediately set off for a birthday party because we had to get over this shock first.

At the end of the trip we can all say that it was really very nice, even if there are simply too many people on the ship. We don't know if our drinks package was worth it, but we had fun.
