Back to Reality

The last day in Peru has come, and I wake up early. By 6 AM, I am already sitting at breakfast, enjoying my final moments in Lima. The coffee is strong, the fresh fruit tastes delicious, and I take my time to reflect on all the impressions of the past weeks.

At 6:15 AM, it’s time to hop in the taxi! It’s the day of the Lima Marathon, and as we drive through the city, I see the runners and can hardly wait to try out my new running shoes in Germany. It feels like I'm part of this special event, even though I’m not (yet) running myself.

Upon arrival at the airport, check-in goes quickly, and I prepare for my departure from Peru. My flight to Madrid takes off at 10:20 AM. I hardly slept, but I used the time to create my Peru video. It will be a lovely memory of this incredible journey.

The hours on the flight pass quickly, and when we land in Madrid at 4:20 PM. At 7:10 PM, I continue on to Frankfurt, where I arrive at 9:50 PM.

As I make my way home, memories of all the adventures swirl through my mind. I am so grateful for all the experiences and the people I met!
