Introduction
Hello and a warm welcome! We are a family of six from Brandenburg and we have decided to finally share our experiences. Our motto: Little feet, wide land. Because no matter how small the steps of our three girls are, Germany offers us endless space for discoveries.
Who we are
We are my husband, me, our three daughters (1, 4, and 5 years old), and our 3-year-old dog Bonny. We live the patchwork adventure (my husband is the proud dad of our youngest) and we love being on the road together – even when it gets a bit chaotic.
Of 700 steps and 12 years of quality
Our passion for travel took us to the Schwedenlöcher (Saxon Switzerland) this summer. 700 steps, steep cliffs – and the baby carrier was still at home! We improvised and carried the youngest up in our arms. This taught us one thing: the right equipment is everything.
In October in Rügen (IFA Binz and treetop path at night), it was there: our Ergobaby carrier. The special thing? It is a proud 12 years old! It has made history and now safely carries our youngest little one through the world. But: The era of the carrier is soon coming to an end. We are planning to switch to a frame backpack and are already excited to see which model will accompany us on future peaks.
What to expect here
On this blog, we take you along on our excursions between the Baltic Sea and Bavaria. We will test for you:
Next stop: Dresden!
Tomorrow, on 20.12., we will start our next live adventure. We will park at Elbepark, take a spin on the carousel at the cinema, and then take tram line 9 directly to the Striezelmarkt. Bonny will watch the house tomorrow so that we can have our hands free in the Christmas hustle and bustle.
Stay tuned for our report from the sea of lights!
