Kotor, the southernmost fjord of Europe as they say. Clear waters and mountains all around. After heavy rain yesterday, at least the sun was out occasionally this morning. Mein Schiff 6 is anchored, so they are tendering with their own lifeboats. Yesterday, everyone could book a tender time without having excursions booked through Mein Schiff. We chose 09:00 for Tender Group Sweden. This way we could enjoy breakfast at a leisurely pace. Just before 9 o'clock, the call came, and off we went. By 09:35 we were on land.

Right at the port exit, the Hop on Hop off bus was offered. Price for adults is €28, with a disability ID €15. Tickets purchased, and into the bus we went. It left around 10:15.

The route goes along this beautiful coast to Persat. Unlike typical Hop on Hop off tours, there are only 2 stops here in Kotor. As rain is forecasted again in the afternoon and we still want to explore the city, we do not get off. Due to traffic on the return, we didn't get back to the port until around 11:50.
Included in the ticket are also admissions to museums and a city tour. Since the sky was clouding up again, we skipped the tour and ventured into the city on our own. From the port, one reaches the city gate through an underpass.
Once through, you are directly in front of the famous clock tower and on the large square. Narrow alleys, shops everywhere, churches, museums, and a bazaar. Just let yourself be carried away. There is always a lot happening here.
As predicted, at 12:30 the rain set in again. We quickly made our way back to the tender boat.
