Back to Business

After two days off, it was finally time to return to the shelter. It’s really cool that we have the opportunity to see a bit of the island, but working at the shelter is so much fun that I was really looking forward to going back to work and cuddling with the dogs.

After work, we first went to the beach. The sun was shining, and the weather was just perfect. In the evening, we wanted to go out for dinner because I really wanted to try seafood.
Since Hermine is vegan, we always make sure there’s enough variety. Somehow, the Greeks don’t seem to be very familiar with the word 'Vegan'. When we ask if something is vegan, we only get responses like: 'It’s no milk inside' or 'there's no meat in the gummy bears. They are only made with gelatin.'

We then decided on a cute little restaurant by the harbor, and we had a really nice view. The food was simply super delicious. :)
