Off to Lille

New tour, familiar route: It's on again, this time the destination is Lille. And how could it be otherwise? The path leads through Cologne

Cologne Central Station seems to look even more like a construction site 🚧 with each visit than before. But the timing couldn’t be more perfect: Today is officially Railway Day🛤️. Cheerful train employees 😉

However, the signs are a little different this time: My bike is now three years older than it was during the previous UK tour. And speaking of age-related signs: I just discovered a little 8 in the rear wheel. Perfect.

And yes, of course, I myself have also aged three years since the last big tour…

A little more maintenance on bike and rider, but in high spirits and smooth riding ahead. Let’s see what this adventure brings! Lille, here I come!
