Spontaneously, we went to China for a day to inspect the start of mass production for an item. The factory was near Shenzhen, so we could take the high-speed train from Hong Kong. In the station, it is the only spot of 'Chinese' soil in Hong Kong. When you board the train, you are practically already in Chinese territory. There are controls before that, similar to the airport.
We took about 2 hours by train and then were picked up by the supplier. It took another 1 hour by car across the countryside to get to the factory.
For lunch, we went together with the supplier to eat. We went to a traditional Chinese restaurant. Everyone stared at me because I was the only European. However, the boss praised me for my use of chopsticks.
