1st stage towards Nortorf

Today is finally the day! After months of preparations, reading and looking at countless contributions, making bookings, and planning the journey to Hirtshals, we turned the ignition key at 00:12 and started our first leg to Nortorf. The drive was incredibly relaxed; we could easily flow along with the few trucks on the B49/the 485 and later on the A5 and A7.

The Kassel Mountains were effortlessly conquered by our little Vitara, and so we reached the Hanover area well ahead of schedule, taking advantage of the extra time for an extended coffee break in Buchholz/Aller.

We arrived at our first stop to see my mum at 09:00.

After a lovely little breakfast and spending time with family

we continued on to the first apartment in Nortorf.
