And this morning Marlies and I went our separate ways. Marlies was a beachcomber and I was a nature freak in the wilderness. First I walked a bit along the forest nature trail, which was really well signposted, and then I drove back to the dune viewing point. I sat high up on the bench for a long time and enjoyed the wild dune landscape.

Then I drove back to the restaurant from yesterday and ordered the mysterious cream puff with strawberries that I had seen yesterday. The cream puff was brilliant. With that a pot of coffee, my world was in order. Then I looked for a way to the bunkers, but an hour's walk wasn't what I wanted, because I couldn't get any closer by car. So I chose fate and the way home.

At home I was actually granted a parking space in another holiday complex very close by, so I don't have to walk so far to get to my car in the morning. Sometimes you're just lucky.

In the evening we ordered a pizza, but it was much too big, so we both stuffed ourselves, but we couldn't finish it.

Today Marlies was again looking for traces of her job when she was younger, but was unsuccessful.

Well then, one more sleep and we have to leave our quarters at 10 a.m. Our ferry doesn't leave until 4 p.m., so we'll see what we can do tomorrow.
